Far from the market and out of the town
Strolling into, where the trees live
Breathing the natures sweet air it‘s
So different from what I’ve known
Moss under my feet
Sun breaks through the leaves
Placid whisper of the creek
Never felt so free before
Moss under my feet
Sun vanish from the leaves
Part 3 – Threatening Silence
Losing the secure path
Perceiving my instincts
Threatening silence
All good feelings turning into
Bad
Stones and roots under my feet
And every tree is gazing at my soul
Will I lose my mind in here?
If I could only find my way home
„Come stay with us forever
Come with us deeper in the woods
We’ll give you food and water
And you can sleep between our roots
And all your pain and fears are
Gone like the whisper in the breeze
And look at our children
You can play with them!“
I’ll keep running through the woods
I don’t want to listen, no!
As the sun comes out again
I regain my consciousness
Part 4 – A Slight Whisper
I stand at the forest edge
The town calls my name
A slight whisper from behind
The trees open their arms for me
Epilogue
Another day is born
In this town full of worn out faces
To reach out and explore what’s left
To see what the plane really is
And the knowledge of generations
Should lead us to learn, lead us to teach
And lead us to make things all right again …
